Football Italian can reveal that the Nerazzurri will be without Alessandro Nesta and Mario Balotelli for the upcoming Serie A season.
Balotelli, the man behind the ‘Balotico’ nickname and an important part of Milan’s attacking side, is set to miss the rest of the season due to injury.
Nesta, a versatile midfielder and a key figure in the Rossoneri’s attacking style, has also been ruled out of the 2014-15 campaign due to a serious knee injury.
The Nerazzurs will now be without the three players in order to re-sign them.
The Nerazzu have also made it clear that they are willing to sell the Italian international, although he could be offered for less than €25m.
Nesta, 31, is the son of Italian football icon Giacomo Nesta.
The son of the legendary coach was born in Milan and trained with the national team.
Balotucci, 28, is a central midfielder who has won the Champions League, UEFA Europa League and two Serie A titles with the Rossonera.
He has also played in the Europa League with Atalanta.
Balotelli was one of the best midfielders in the Italian national team for five years from 2008 to 2012.
Neste is an extremely talented player.
He scored 27 goals in 84 appearances for AC Milan, and was named in the Italy’s World Cup team in 2006.
Balotelli is a highly-rated midfielder and was one part of the Milan team that won the World Cup in 2010.
The Rossonerii have also signed Italian international midfielder Leonardo Bonucci from Udinese for €12m.
Bonucci is a very talented midfielder and played for AC Napoli from 2010-2014.
