How to check if a NBA game is live in real time on ESPN: Free Public Records
ESPN has updated its free public domain (FFD) database with the information of all games that are broadcast or broadcast-only on the network, including all of its local games.
This includes all games, pre- and post-game, and highlights of all of the league’s regular-season games, as well as all of their playoffs.
It also includes the full schedule of all regular- and postseason-related games and any pre- or post-Game coverage.
The list includes all major sports and includes the total number of games broadcast or streamed on ESPN each week, the average number of minutes of games each game airs, and how many of those are live and the average audience for each game.
The site also includes data for the network’s local and regional sports and shows, including the number of hours and minutes per game that the network airs, how many games are live in the U.S., how many are on local TV, and the percentage of ESPN’s local broadcast that are available on mobile devices.
The updated FCD also includes all of ESPNs sports programming, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, NASCAR, college football, NHL, and NFL games.
The updated list also includes every FCD game that is a regular- or postseason-based event, including home and away games and the entire schedule for each team.
In addition, ESPNs free public record (FFR) database has also been updated to reflect every home game since the league announced its 2018 schedule in January 2018.
